Single side TPO Coated PP Fabrics for Car Interiors

In the new generation Automobile industry world wide PVC is not a preferred choice, due to heavy metal presence like that of lead, cadmium etc., and plasticiser migration property which leads to fogging, poor ageing factors and lack of re-cycleability.

"TPO" has distinct advantages over "PVC" on the following grounds: -

TPO being polymeric, hence no migration due to absence of plasticisers. Hence, no stiffness due to ageing and no fogging.
Lower specific gravity, hence lower weights relatively.
No smell.
Very dry feel and easy to clean.
Oil and chemical resistance better than those of PVC.
Re-cycleability if coated on PP.
Moldability for Car Interiors, giving better looks.
Dust repellent properties better than of PVC.
Inert to Microbial attack.
Low temperature flexibility upto -50oC.
In case of PP fabric, the fabric colors will remain stable and the fabric will remain resistant to microbial attack .
TPO coated fabric available in any color and grain.
Because of high dimensional stability, the retention of embossing grains is much better than in the case of PVC.
